Lightning Bolt Ring.

This was a ring that I made for my self.

The ring is made from silver.
I used a rolling mill to get the pattern onto the metal then cut a lightning bolt symbol out and soldered it on top, unfortunately the ring catches on things now and then, so I will improve the design should I make one again in the future.

I chose the lighting bolt as it has always been one of my favourite symbols, it is often associated with the comic book hero Flash (see link below) and also Thor, also a comic book hero, though more famous known as a mythological Norse warrior (see link below) that shot out lightning bolts when he struck his hammer.

Coffin Pendent

This was the very first piece of jewellery that I sold, it was sold at a Xmas exhibition and sale, I was over the moon with joy, as it got sold within the first half hour of being put on display, unfortunately I did not get to meet the buyer. The pendent sold for £32.00

I have always been fascinated with death and symbols, so came up with the idea of a coffin with the universal cross pierced out in the middle, simple yet an effective idea.

Ankh Ring

This was a ring I made for a Xmas exhibition and sale, it sold for £30.00

The ring is made of silver and the technique that I used for the mane shape of the ring is called fluting, I then shaped a piece of silver wire into the Ankh symbol, then soldered it onto the top of the ring.

The Ankh symbol is an Eqyptian symbol meaning life, click the link below to find more out about the symbol.
